Buenos Aires, November, 17th, 2017 (SIGNIS Argentina). The Council works on a first guide for fiction and advertising products on topics related to childhood and adolescence.
With the presence of SIGNIS Argentina, represented by Isabel Gatti, Vice-President and Adrián Baccaro, executive secretary, the twenty-fifth meeting of the Advisory Council on Audiovisual Communication and Children (CONACAI) was recently held.
The opening of the meeting was done by the director of the National Communications Agency (ENACOM), Heber Martínez, who presented a series of steps and proposals made by the national agency linked to children and the audiovisual and digital media.
For its part, CONACAI presented the project to prepare a guide to address the issues related to children and adolescents for audiovisual productions. This document intends to use a guiding resource for the fiction, entertainment and advertising products of the country when including or addressing the issues that involve children and teenagers.
In the plenary session, ENACOM also presented a proposal to create a competitive fund (FOMECA) for audiovisual productions for children.
