SIGNIS celebrates 90 years of collaboration between Catholic communicators in Leuven
Quebec City, June, 16th, 2017 (SIGNIS). This Monday, the SIGNIS World Congress will start in Québec city, around the theme “promoting stories of Hope”. Many plenary sessions and workshops are organized for three days, in order to debate, discover and exchange on the world of media and communications.
We will have the honor of welcoming Martin Scorsese for a special Q&A session, as well as Msgr. Lucio Adrian Ruiz, the Secretary of the Secretariat for Communications of the Vatican. We will pay tribute to Robert Molhant, former general secretary of SIGNIS who passed away last year, as well as to the French Canadians, for their outstanding international involvement.
We will share a study day with the participants of the Catholic Press Association’s annual conference: the Catholic Media Conference. This shared day gives us an opportunity to build relationships between the members of the organisations and to discuss around the theme “Stories of Hope”.
For the ones amongst you who were not able to join us, here is some good news: every day, you will be able to follow us live by clicking here.
Live videos will also be available on our Facebook Page. Stay tune for the exact time.
