SIGNIS celebrates 90 years of collaboration between Catholic communicators in Leuven
Bangkok, October, 18th, 2017 (Asian Side of the Doc). The registrations for Asian Side of the Doc #8, which will take place from January 30th to February 2nd in Bangkok, Thailand, are now open. Asian Side of the Doc is the international sales market and co-production platform for documentaries and specialist factual in Asia, bringing together more than 500 commissioners, foundations, filmmakers, producers, distributors and other investors from around the world with the aim of building a unified factual content market within Asia.
The four-day event offers an exhibition hall, pitching sessions, one-to-one meetings with key decision makers & distributors, an outstanding line-up of panels, networking events & training workshops – all to co-produce, buy and sell documentary worldwide.
The Call for Projects is open to submissions until December 11, 2017. Projects, with appeal to Asian broadcasters, co-producers or other funders are highly recommended. Projects selected for the pitching would be provided pre-organized one-to-one meetings with international funding and creative executives, for critical guidance, and for creative and financial discussions.

Distributors could take advantage of a dedicated meeting space to share in-depth information about their catalogues of factual and unscripted content. Match-made one-to-one meetings with interested buyers will be organized to reinforce the sales of factual content within the APAC region.
